WE ARE…

REBEKAH

Over the past month the passage in Exodus 33 about the tent of meeting and God speaking to Moses as with a friend has reminded me of the power of His presence. There have been two very specific moments in workshops where I tangibly sensed that He was ministering in the lives of the young people we had the opportunity to speak to as the Holy Spirit led us. These moments reminded me the importance of what we do!

Thank you for your prayers for the launch of the new collective collection; please continue to pray that each item serves as a reminder that we are treasured in God’s eyes and that people would share that message as they wear it.

Please pray over our team as a whole as we finish for the year and look towards transitioning into next year. Pray that as some of our volunteers and interns leave that God would guide their next steps, and that He would bring the right people to our team for what lies ahead next year.

Thank you all so much for your continued prayers for Made for More and what God is doing in and through us!

In May we have been in many workshops in primary schools, chatting to P7s all about moving on to big school. It has been a great privilege to be able to feed into the lives of these children as they embark on a big life change. It was really encouraging to hear the young people talking about what they are excited for and equipping them with strategies for when they are feeling nervous. 

Please pray for all the primary pupils moving on to their new school and please pray that our new video resources will be able to reach the majority of secondary schools to encourage new Year 8 pupils as they start this big life transition.

This past month has been the beginning of transition. 

For me transition is created of excitement and anticipation, especially as we approach transition within our internship, some volunteers, and on a personal level, getting married! 

Please join us in praying that the Lord brings the right people into our team - each year there has been no doubt that every person has been here for a unique purpose, so we are praying in faith this year is no different. Our application deadline and interviews are at the beginning on June, so please pray over that! 

Thank you for your consistent support - I am so thankful to know we are covered in prayer.

JOHNNY

May was a very encouraging month. I was in a couple of Primary schools at the beginning of May, including my old Primary school. We were delivering workshops to some P7’s and how they can transition smoothly into secondary school. I really felt like we were getting through to the P7s and really preparing them for later life. I felt incredibly encouraged after these workshops and so strongly that we were making a difference in these young lives.

Over the month of May, I was also encouraged to see the interns developing in so many areas of their faith and personalities. This was optimised when Lois shared her testimony at our team night. It was just amazing to see how she has progressed in her life over the last few months. 

Beth, Rhys and I had another India team meeting which was great. We got to know the rest of the team on a deeper level which brought a new level of excitement to the whole team!

Thanks for your prayers - it’s amazing to see God working in so many different spheres!
